The Driver

Now the paper driving licence has gone, the checking process has altered for employers to check their employees’ licence status and history.

The DVLA have introduced an online checking facility for drivers to be able to check their own licence details and provide a unique code to their employer, this website can be found here www.viewdrivingrecord.service.gov.uk

The information required by the driver to access their information is as follows;

Once they have entered the required information they will be provided with an option to share, they will then be provided with a unique code which they can provide to their employer to enable them to check their licence status and history.
